The Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) models provide an ideal solution for connecting and remotely powering wireless access points, IP video surveillance cameras, and IP phones.
“With the growth of social, streaming media and IoT interactions, the network edge can be quickly overloaded unless you plan wisely and deploy managed Gigabit Ethernet as widely as possible,” said Philip Yim, Senior Vice President of Global Programs. “We are now in our 30th year of operation and our customers are well used to seeing highly practical, reliable and affordable technology that delivers the performance and value they need.”
GS970M models leverage a compact 1RU form factor which makes them ideal for open office and wiring closet environments. 2 or 4 fixed front panel 100/1000BASE-X (SFP) unpopulated ports can be utilized for high-speed backbone or link aggregation connections between wiring closets.
Powered by AlliedWare Plus, featuring Autonomous Management Framework™ (AMF) edge mode functionality, GS970M switches enable organizations to build highly resilient and secure edge networks that support high network uptime, simplified management, increased operational efficiency with low total cost of ownership.
