Ubiquiti UniFi Express is an extremely compact so-called UniFi Cloud Gateway. The device combines the functions of a controller for the UniFi wireless network, a WiFi 6 access point, a firewall and a router.

UX in controller mode allows you to configure and manage up to 4 UniFi network devices. UniFi Express can also operate in Mesh mode by connecting to other Express devices within WiFi range.

UniFi UX is equipped with a WiFi 6 access point operating in both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. Thanks to 2x2 MU-MIMO antennas (with appropriate gain of 4dBi and 5.15dBi), the wireless network throughput reaches 573 Mb/s in the 2.4 GHz band and 2.4 Gb/s in the 5 GHz band. The range of a single device depends on the client device, but it reaches 140m2 and will serve up to 60 wireless clients.

In addition to the access point, the small housing, designed with aesthetics in mind, houses two Ethernet interfaces with a speed of 1 Gb/s - one serving as a WAN port, the other as a LAN port. The 0.96” LCM display allows you to constantly monitor basic network indicators.
